e-choke

So, after tuning the carb, and reducing the idle back to where it should be, my truck is hard to get going cold. Hooked up the e-choke, starts up and runs a lot better cold. There's even a light that comes on in my dash that says choke. But once the truck warmed up, the light stayed on. Does this mean the choke is staying on?

Re: e-choke

I have a manual choke so I can't help you. Easy to set up and then you can control it as you feel like. I'd pull the air cleaner and look at it when the truck is warmed up. You should be able to see if your choke is on or not. As for the light.... like I said, I don't know.

Re: e-choke

Manual choke is the plan. The e-choke was just already wired, I just had to hook it up to the carb. I'll check it out tomorrow w/ the air cleaner off.
