How unusual is a second build sheet?

I was doing a little more cleaning on my new '68, and I found a second build sheet. I can't imagine how it survived-it was just lying on the floorboard (in pieces) under some dirt and debris between the gas tank and the back of the seat.

Here are both of them. I have them under a sheet of glass to flatten them out. Maybe I can cut and paste and make one complete

And then I noticed the date on it. Tomorrow is my truck's 43rd Birthday!

This is the present I got her. New ball joints, bearings and shocks.

That's pretty unusual I would think. A lot of people would be happy to find one.

Happy Birthday....to your 68. Pretty cool you found two. By the time I got my 68 the build sheet and SPID were long gone.

Re: How unusual is a second build sheet?

I found a Chevelle in a junkyard that had at least 3 of them in it. Wish I could find them in my own vehicles!

Re: How unusual is a second build sheet?

Before I found a good one under my 72's seat, I had purchased a complete one from a fellow board member so I could have one remade from the one that fell apart. I figured between the three build sheets I have, I should be able to make a nice new one.
