Re: quick question about stepside box...??
Here is what I did. It's not an exact swap, but it can be made to work (with a welder)

Re: quick question about stepside box...??
Mar-K has excellent bed sides if you decide to go that route. By the time you modify the bed and have to fill and re-drill the existing holes for the fenders, it might be better to replace with brand new, ready to prime sides, my .02

Re: quick question about stepside box...??
It can be done but there are differences to address such as the stake pockets, holes, and filler panels on the front sides. I believe that you may want to look into bigsnookmaster's suggestion.

Re: quick question about stepside box...??
got to looking at stuff and im gonna do some searching for a fairly decent shape 67-72 short stepside.. Seems like alot of $$$$$$$$ to buy a new box and more hassle than its worth to put the correct fenders on my current box. The tailgate also needs replaced on my current box also...
Thanks for advice/tips guys! |
