Mufflers with porterbuilt T/A and arms

Was curious what you guys with porterbuilt crossmember and trailer arms were using for mufflers.

I have a 69 Jimmy with his crossmember and trailing arms and after trying to fit a set of flowmasters between the rear axle and step up were the cab and bed meet.. It's not happening. There isn't a whole lot of room there..

I've thought about using supertrapps (blech!!! last resort!) or using a set of cherry bomb glasspacks. (which is kinda of the theme of the truck anyways)

Just trying to get some different opinions and photos if at all possible..

Re: Mufflers with porterbuilt T/A and arms

Well, I bought some glasspack from a local mom and pops that was bought by Carquest. Still same people running, just different name.

They are 18" case with 23" total length. 2 1/2" They fit in place a whole lot better thane the 40 series flowmasters that I have.

Having pipe bent today for them. See how it goes from there. Didn't know if anyone ran into the same problem?
