Near Perfect SWB Bed
Ok, this one hurts.....I have a very very nice SWB bed from my stash of parts that I've decided to part with. I have been saving this for a SWB build that is so far in the future........ I don't even have a truck to put it on. I just know how hard the really good ones are to come by. The sides are straight, top rails are good, wheel tubs have no dents, floor is straight, front panel has a few dings, but the top rail is straight, the only bondo I can find is covering the upper trim holes, the underside is clean. I am asking $2000, for another $450 I'll throw in a good tailgate. So, this bed will cost about what a new one would cost, but it's all original metal. I can arrange delivery to Pate swap meet at TMS in a few weeks if paid in advance. Sorry for the crappy pics, it's buried in the back of my shop currently. I can get some better ones when I get it dug out, hopefully in a few days. Thanks, Greg

If I could get it to NW FL for a reasonable amount, it would be mine....

Re: Near Perfect SWB Bed
Ok, finally got this dug out of the corner it was in, and cleaned up a bit. I wanted to note a few things I noticed while cleaning, there are a couple door dings, the bed floor has some dents, but no waves. I pulled the tail light sockets and can find no body work in those ares on either side. Nothing you wouldn't expect from a 40 year old truck bed, all in all very nice. I have a hoist in my shop, come take a look, I can get it high enough you can walk under it to check it out. Thanks, Greg

What you see on the bottom side of the wheel tubs in the first pic is mud. Greg

Re: Near Perfect SWB Bed
You interested in a trade? You would have to drop the bed off and pick up the truck.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/c...hlander&cat=12

Looks nice I am interested although wont be in your area till early june and would like to see it before i pay that much money. The paint on outside of bed looks fresh do you know how long ago it was applied. If you are interested let me know, I may be willing to send a deposit to hold it. ill give you email or phone # to discuss if this may work. Let me know in post.
