Tire Suggestions

Ok I have these old school cragars i picked up a couple months back. I like the way 275/60/15 fits on the front set of wheels which are 8 inches wide. Now the rears though are 10 inches wide and the 275/60/15 on those look to small they look like one bump will make the tire fall off. What wider size tires are there that would look good and even with the height of a 275/60/15. I know there is a 295/50/15 but those are too small. Any suggestions guys?

Re: Tire Suggestions

This link my help you out, but unfortunately it doesn't look like there is a tire in between the 2 you have mentioned. To use the 295/50/15 on the rear, you may want to go with a 275/50/15 for the front?

Take a look here

http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...em=SportsmanSR

Looks like the 275's are about 26.10 and the 295's are about 26.75 .. there are many 28" to 30" diameter tires that would look good.

Re: Tire Suggestions

I'm confused, why is a 295/50 too small? That's what I'd have suggested.

Re: Tire Suggestions

A thought, are the 10" rims going to tuck inside the fenderwells? If they fit the 12" tire would look good in there.

I think with those you should measure them, and check the date codes. Mickey Thompsons website doesn't list a tire that size. http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...em=SportsmanST

Date codes http://http://www.tirerack.com/tires....jsp?techid=11
