Just got this Cheyenne Sunday

I just did some trading and got this 72 Cheyenne Sunday evening. I did a little trading for it with an old dirtbike that i hardly rode anyway. It has a factory tach, tilt column, a/c, cargo light, etc...a/c is all there exept the compressor. Anyway, on to the pics, because i know that you guys like pics! And before anyone says anything i know that the upper door posts should be painted white, thats the way i got it. Let me know what you guys think of the old bucket of bolts. Joseph

Re: Just got this Cheyenne Sunday

Question:

Is the tailgate correct? Don't Cheyenne tailgates look like this photo? Or is it just Supers that get that style gate?

Nice truck BTW! It looks really good.

Re: Just got this Cheyenne Sunday

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm not sure about the tailgate band being on the supers only or not, it would look better with it though. There was thin upper and lower tailgate moulding on it at one time but its gone now. It needs some work here and there but overall it runs and drives great. I didn't really need another truck but i couldn't pass it up, you know how it goes! Something to keep the 68 company i guess. I'm sure i'll have more ?'s when i tear into it some more. Joseph

The tailgate is correct. All tailgates are the same. I looks like the Cheyenne/Cheyenne Super trim wasn't put back on when it was repainted.
Looks like a decent truck. Good trade!
