Re: Phantom Grille

It doesn't have the perimeter trim like I've seen on other phantom grills

Re: Phantom Grille

I've never seen a phantom grille that ever came with that trim...you just use the original trim from the truck and that one doesn't have it installed. I ordered one off eBay a few years back for around 100 bucks and it was great quality and looked good til I decided to do the burb clip.

Correctamundo. I will have to spend some time looking on ebay. Do you remember what company/brand the grille was, texasfunk?

Iirc it was t-Rex or something. Type c10 phantom grille and a few pop up. The tres seem to be a bit more pricey though...so maybe I'm wrong?

Re: Phantom Grille

Haha, yea I popped in phantom grille and a few came up. On Stillen.com the T-rex phantom is coming up at $268 before S&H, so if you did get one you got one hell of a deal! http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tchlink:top:en That one looks promising, I like the 17 bar grilles.

Re: Phantom Grille

I got my t-Rex through amazon. I think it was about $300. I opted to go with t-Rex because they have a great reputation and I wanted it to look good!

Re: Phantom Grille

I will have to agree with that! How bright is it at night though? I have an '86 K5, and it is going to be my winter 4x4 DD. I plan on getting bright headlights and then wiring them so that the bottom low beams come on with the high beams as well.
