Friend Just picked up a 59 GMC Pickup
I am trying to Decode the VIN can anyone help with this?
It seems to be original, it still has the 6V electrical system, appears to be an original V8 engine with front motor mount... Body is solid very minor cancer... Glass is all good and everything seems to be here Price was right so he bought it... Hopefully one of you can Decode the VIN 1018PS18575A

Well, VIN BUSTER http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/vin/vinbuster.html says it's a '61 from Pontiac, MI. If it's really a '59, you might have to look a bit farther.

Near as I can tell its a S series 1958 1/2 ton short bed 336 v8 made in Pontiac Michigan
