sPRAY BOMBING SMALLER PARTS
Ive been cleaning every part as I go along brackets clips bolts. after i wire wheelem i spray some rust converterand some rusto.. and pop em in the oven.. all i gotta say is wow!!!. this stuff gets pretty hard.. i did my intake the other day and loved it!!

Before you could buy bolt kits, I used to sandblast my body bolts, spray with Trim Black, and bake them in the oven. Yes, it does work well!

I did mine at 225-250 for 20-30 minutes

all I can say is you should see what a dishwasher does to dirty parts (even heads)....set it to pots and pans or what ever the hardest scrub is and remember to get it out before Mom gets home!! ( but really an old dishwasher from the dump works well with a long cord and a garden hose hooked to it!!!)

^^^works like a champ. Little simple green in there. I had an on-base house that was set to demolish real soon and I lived by myself anyway never had any dishes. I did many many parts in that dishwasher and was amazed every time how clean it got them. I built engines in the kitchen with all that nice counterspace and cabinents.

The best thing I can add is to get the parts really clean.I use a wire brush,sandpaper, and even a wire wheel on the things I paint.Then the dishwasher thing works well or you can use the utility sink to hand wash.The other way i clean is to use brake clean.Light even coats so there are no runs and then bake or allow to dry for a week or more.
