67-72 Bolt-on Body Drop
We have been working on buttoning up our bolt-on body drop kit for quite some time. For those who have been patiently waiting.... it's finally done.
I will be posting up more information and installation instructions on my site shortly. (www.porterbuiltfabrication.com) Here's some pics of the last piece to the puzzle.... the front core support mounts/frame horn relocator. For those who have been waiting for me to complete this bracket, we will be filling orders and shipping starting next week.

Re: 67-72 Bolt-on Body Drop
Looks like a cool idea. What happens with the bed? Traditional body drop? Any provisions for cooling fan, steering shaft, shift linkage, etc? Again, cool idea

Re: 67-72 Bolt-on Body Drop
Quote:
The front most bed mount gets replaced, and the rear portion of the frame gets cut off and our brackets bolt on to lower the rear bed mount. The rest of the bed mounts are an "on your own" deal, as the majority of bed floors will get raised and other mounts/spacers fabricated/installed. I will post up some more pics next week. There's a handful of guys that already have the rest of the kit installed.

Come on, Nate...say YES!
The pic doesn't look like the front horn was modified. Does the front bumper also move with the body?

Here are some more pics from Porterbuilt fabrication of the install. Nate are you gonna send me a trial set to see if this works on the front of the 60-66? Looking good as usual! Keep it up!

Re: 67-72 Bolt-on Body Drop
The drop is .75" this will set the pinch weld even with the bottom of the frame rails. I will start another thread in the vendor section with the details and pricing this next week.
