Back in November I bought this cherry 1990 V2500 Suburban for the original owners. Before the old timer sold it he had it repainted the factory colors, had the engine/trans and transfer case gone through. It has 150k on the body. So far its the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. I plan on keeping this one for a long time so I have some plans for it, some are long term plans but I'll eventually get there.

Some stuff I've bought already

Plans:
4" Lift
315-75-16s
I dont know what I will do for wheels yet

Other than that I dont plan on doing a lot to this rig

I forgot to mention the long term plans. If and when the TBI 5.7 gets tired I want to do a LQ4/LQ9 Swap with 4L80E. I'd really like to do a Cummins Swap but that is a lot of time needed that I dont have.

I'd like to see the 315's on the stock wheels with hubcaps, personally. It will be an ex- "old man's rig" with some attitude!

I was thinking the same thing I just can't get over the difference in axles width.

Nothing yet I'm still contemplating lift and looking for a good shop for the exhaust. I think Dennis got me in line with a good shop.
