I have a pretty stock 68 (dad bought it new)C10 4x4. The front springs are stock, and "flat" or curve downward a bit. I want more clearance and am not sure how to go about it. Can I add a block under the stock springs up front, or do I get new springs that curve upward? Only looking for about 3" total. New to the site, so getting familar with it. Thanks.

Re: Lift kit Questions
you have a k10, and most will recommend new springs on the front, a lot safer than blocks. and they arent too expensive either

Re: Lift kit Questions
Don't put blocks in the front!
When my front springs were sagging several years ago, I got 2 1/2" Skyjacker Softride springs. Didn't have to change anything else except the shocks. I am still very happy with them, and they might be just what you are looking for. Hope this helps. If you have any questions about the springs, just ask.

Re: Lift kit Questions
Blocks in the front are never an option. You can always get a 2.5 or 3" lift. Quality ones are really reasonably priced.
