GMCPauls Deluxe brake conversion

I recently ordered the Deluxe Brake conversion kit with 9" Booster/MC and prop valve. I'm having a hard time finding a guide or much instructions on this specific kit. It's made by Mcgaughy's. Being that it was originally a Manual drum brake set up, will I need to order new front brake lines as when we mocked up the Booster/MC with the prop valve we noticed that the stock brake lines won't line up. Would I just need to order lines for a power disc set up and this will fix my problems? Thanks!

Have you contacted GMC Paul? I would start there and see what they say.

Re: GMCPauls Deluxe brake conversion

Yup sure did, this is the response they gave me in case anyone else was looking into or interested in doing this.

You will need to tweak ( bend ) the brake lines running from the frame to the prop valve by hand where they bolt onto the prop valve, no one we know of makes the front brake lines pre-bent to do this.Other than having to do that the installation is basicly a straight up replacement of the original parts with the new ones. The only thing you may need to complete the installation is some of the truck drum brake lines that attach at the prop valve have a different size AN fitting than the disc / drum prop valves has, if your lines do not have the correct end fitting on them where they will attach directly to the prop valve then you will need to get a AN adapter from NAPA or similar auto parts store to adapt the brake line ends to the prop valve.
