CA 64 parts truck - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

i posted on the message board first since i didn't know the exact year and a few people were interested in parts. i don't have a camera so i guess local guys/gals will have to look at it in person. it's a 6 lug short fleetside, V8, 3 on the tree. motor is froze up and most sheetmetal is junk. cab is repairable, right corner is cut out, small hole in right floor, right rocker has small holes the rest appears solid. right bedside is fair at best, left bedside is pure crap. both doors are junk, both fenders need bottom rear patches, inner fenders good, rad support good, tailgate has 2 large dents, hood probably bad since it's in the bed with the seat and all the sheetmetal stacked on top of it. very little good stuff on this poor truck but if anyone wants to see it, i get off work at 4:30 mon-fri and am usually around on weekends. the frame looks good and it has tires that hold air.

#4-3 speed steering column-$10.00-GONE WITH CAB AND FRAME
#5-right bedside-free if you take it off-GONE TOO

#8-radiator-$40.00-pressure tested it and it did not leak

If your in the Nor-Cal Brentwood (why we have two in Cali is beyond me) I'd like to come check it out. I'm in Antioch and I need a small patch panel for my bed. I can probably be taken off the bad side. I might be interested in the right side too along with a few other items.

i'm in the brentwood next door to you and you're welcome to come by and take a look at it. i'm usually home after 4:45 during the week and anytime on weekends. shoot me a call (925)642-5931. now that the weather has straightened out and the days are longer, any evening should be fine.

Are the headlight plugs, hood marker light plugs in good shape?I'm also needing the piece that holds the throttle rod to the pedal linkage.

the throttle rod pieces are still hooked up, headlight plugs look o.k but the wiring harness is tied together with wire nuts. not sure on the marker light plugs/harness-the hood is in the bed and the doors, fenders and grille pieces are stacked on top of it.

finally able to dig out the hood today, the park light harness looks good. how does 20 bucks delivered sound for it and the throttle pieces sound. i'll throw in the headlight harness free.

well, doesn't seem to be much interest in this poor old truck so i guess it's time for the sawzall and torch to get busy. my scrap bin is empty at work so i can start filling it up. if anyone wants anything i listed in my first post please feel free to make an offer, scrap isn't worth much so i will deal with you.

it works but the shaft where the handle connects is worn bad.
