Going under the knife!
Well me and a buddy started disassembling the front suspension on my 79 C10 this evening. We got everything tore down and I'm just waiting for my drop springs to get here in a few days so we can put her all back together. I'm doing a McGaughys 4.5/6 lowering kit. After we got finishd this evening I remembered I didn't take any before pics, DOH!!! Hahaha... I can't wait, after pics will be comming soon!!!

How many inches of drop will come from your front springs?

Re: Going under the knife!
Well the spindles are marked for 2.5 inches so I should be getting around 2 inches of drop from the springs. Any of you guys done a McGaughys kit before? This is my first experience with any of there products but I've only heard good things about them so far...
