Power steering pump/ pulley ???

What did the double groove power steering pump pulleys come on from the factory? Wasnt sure if it was a big block thing or maybe small block w/ AC? Does anyone know if the pumps are the same? Looking to swap my single pulley for a double. Thanks

Re: Power steering pump/ pulley ???

i got mine of a 67 to 72 gm a body but any ps pulley off any pre 87 truck or car (may be even newer if the pump looks the same it will work) will work for mine i am grafting in hydro boost so i will be using a pump from a 85ish cucv blazer on the a body bracket and putting the smaller a body double pully back on

Re: Power steering pump/ pulley ???

There are 2 pulley styles, (Press on and Keyway with a nut) Just pick which one you need to match the pulley or pump you want to run.

Re: Power steering pump/ pulley ???

I just changed the brackets on my 71 from Bills hotrods that were high mount 600 series to his 1100 series. While ordering the wide mounts he explained the difference was in a short or long water pump....short 1 groove... long 2 groove.
