Those mounts pictured are not OE 72 big block towers, they look to be from the 73 and up vintage. Mel

Mel is correct, those are 73 and up. Quickest way to tell is the 72 have only one bump on top. The 73 and newer have 2. If you look in the FAQ, i did a write up with pics not too long ago.

They're not crap, but not much compared to 72 bbc stands. I picked up some of these from a junk yard last week. Paid $30 including the clamshells.
