aftermarket 72 chev front fender?
I have installed 72 chev front fenders. They are stamped CY on the inside, this is the brand someone on the board said fits good. They do untill you put the grill on. The grill fits good in between the fenders. But the grill does not seem to go back far enough around the front of the fender so there is a big space. I have not started working on the fenders to try and make them fit because they don't look like it is worth trying they are so bad. I have heard of this problem before I bought these. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it. Does anyone make fenders that fit. Yes I know they all will need some work, I just don't want to start rebuilding a new set. Thanks

I have two aftermarket fenders on my 68, one is a goodmark and the other one has that cy stamp. neither one of them fit worth a crap. I have played hell getting everything line up. Next time I do this you can bet that I will only get original parts.
