Re: How much to sell my 1984 truck for?

Clean truck, I would say maybe 4-5k? Depends on your area really, you should hit the paint with some compound, wax, and polish to brighten it up, might be a good selling point. Just a suggestion.

I agree, detail the hell out of it. It's a clean truck, but it makes a huge difference, at least for me, when i look at a vehicle. Good luck!

They'll still lock it, they don't like the idea of other people helping other people figure out what their trucks are worth, unless you are paying to do so...

Probably a 3k truck in my area with a good buff job. Also, this is a WIW so will probably get locked.

Re: How much to sell my 1984 truck for?

I'm also thinking about 3k - 3.5k on a good day...It's going to be an increasingly hard to sell it during the summer as gas prices continue to go up. The best time for selling is around feb-april, when mofos get their tax returns...Maybe try selling it to a yankee in a rust bucket state?

Re: How much to sell my 1984 truck for?

Thank ya'll for the info. Im new to the site so i had no idea about the mods not liking or disliking certain fields of interest. Thanks for your opinions. I don't even know if i am going to sell it, it was only if i do. I have a little gas saver car i use as well. More than likely i will keep it and just keep fixing it up.

It has nothing to do with the staff not " like the idea of other people helping other people figure out what their trucks are worth, unless you are paying to do so". By reserving this type of post to supporting members, allows the staff to monitor sales and have some recourse if things go bad.
