There where lots of nice ones. I didn't even take a picture of the yellow and white one my buddy sold that I drove for 5 hours to get it there.

I'm curious about how the market was - more or less trucks than usual? Prices higher or lower? Many selling?

Thanks for the pics.

I'd say the market was good. They don't all sell, but quite a few did. Prices ranged from $6,900-45,000. Those two blue and white shortbeds were going for around $17,000. The Dark Blue one had 92,000 on it and was probably the best one in the bunch,IMO.

Wow, you must have been there early! I got there on Friday morning and the place was full all the way up the hill. I have not had to park that far away from the fairgrounds in years. I would say the collector market as a whole is picking up.

Re: Some Trucks From Spring Carlisle '11

I was there Wed-Sun. I didn't get nearly enough pictures. All these were taken either Wednesday evening or Sunday morning. I didn't take many Wed because I was peddling a bike around, which sold when I got back to my spot...a '63 Corvette!!!! (Schwinn)

Yeah, pretty good. I sold two of the four old Schwinns I brought when I got out of my truck on set-up day. Then,I went for a ride around the show and visited Tim Christians and other guys I know. By the time I started setting up I sold the other two. I brought parts in my trailer and truck toys in the truck...mostly toys at this show. I sold all my parts and a good bit of toys. Now I can afford to buy a membership...finally!
