New wheels

My wheels came in yesterday. Rev Classic 100 20x8 20x9.5 I test fit them and to my suprise, the front fit without any modification. They came in American Racing boxes and the Center cap even says American Racing. I was a little nevous what they would look like because of the low price, but they look great in person. What do you think

Re: New wheels

Just under $800 shipped. Cheap when compared to TT II's or Coys.

I have a 4.5/6 ECE drop and was planning on 255/40 on the front and 295/40 rear. Probably Toyo Proxes.

Re: New wheels

5.25 rear 4.5 front B.S. This is the only backspacing available in th 5x5 20's. Or so I was told by two different dealers. Gray center is also the only way you can get them for these trucks. www.jdwheels.com is a good place to look at them. They show them for $189 each for the 20in gray centers. I actually bought mine from a place in Spring TX called Wheel Dealer Distributor. They were a little higher than JD at first, but i was able to do a little negotiating. Plus they were MUCH more pleasant on the phone than the guy at JD Wheels.

Re: New wheels

Any updates? I'm planning on the same wheels for my ride when I get it back together. Particularly wondering about the clearance on the outside tires to inside fenders front and back. Or, what the spacing/difference is just to the wheels.
Reason being I have the earlier narrow rear diff and wider track front disc with drop spindles. Looks like these wheels are set up for the wider rear diff that comes on 5 lug disc brake trucks ('71 and '72). REV only offers the one offset choice so I got to get it right if I'm getting these.

Ive had Toyo Proxis on my 69 for 7 years, they last a long time and handle nicely! I would definitely buy another set!
