Gas tank filler hose.

Does anyone know what size the gas tank filler hose is on a 78 SWB. i have a cracked filler hose and need to replace it.

Hey thanks. also i went tot he parts store and they only make two sizes 1inch or 2 inch by looking at it i think its 2inch but i will have to pull it off to see.

Thanks ironwood i havent got mine off to measure but you did so appreciate the info now i will go get the filler hose oneside is cracked might as well do both so there new.

Well guess mine wasnt 2inch it was 1 inch and i had to go to my dealer to get it too. man i didnt think a small filler hose would cost so much.lol

Sorry to hear that, I know my main filler hose is 2" and I think the other hose (?) is 1/2", I don't know what the other hose is for, I think it is a breather. ?

Ya its the ventalation hose. Im not sure what size the passenger side tanks hose is im assuming its the same it looks like it. Luckly it was a easy job hose come off and the new one went on in like 10minutes after hours of going from parts store to parts store and then finnaly the dealer. I swear those guys at the parts store where lost when i asked for the filler hose they where like is that for the radiator.lol And when i got to the dealer i didnt even get those part on the counter to show him and he knew right away what it was and where the part was. Its nice to have that kind of service.
