First trip in my new '68

I finally got the old girl put together enough to take a little cruise. Went 15 or 20 miles or so. So good to be back on the road again! The 250 runs really strong, but it's either way out of time or has a tank of really bad gas, because she's a pingin' son-of-a-gun. I have a HEI to install, just need to some wire and connectors. And remove the smog pump. What was the theory behind those things anyway? Can I just cut the belt until I get it removed? The brakes work good now, and the posi locked right up when I broke the rear wheels loose in some soft dirt. I didn't get on the freeway, so I was limited to 40-50 MPH or so. I think I need to start looking for power steering parts, too. Power steering by Armstrong ain't gonna cut it!

Pritch, you've been around here long enough. You know we'll NEVER be satisfied without pictures!!!

Congrats on getting her on the road!
