72 C10 Getting some balls
So here is the truck and the motor going into it. Will hopefully start a build thread soon as I can. Let me know if it seems like a good idea. The motor is a Donovan 542 fully aluminum motor and some goodies. Thanks

Re: 72 C10 Getting some balls
Definitely a bad idea LOL. There better be some other HEAVY duty parts going on that truck along with that mill.

Re: 72 C10 Getting some balls
Gonna need a built 9" and skinny rear tires... Because if you ever hook up that power, it will twist that poor truck in half!

Re: 72 C10 Getting some balls
Yes it is aluminum block. With the tube chassis and a few mods it will be close to tucking under the stock hood. I'm looking at a custom intake that will sit lower on top. I am starting the project fully once my S10 gets it's balls. I did get the bed done with a rear roll pan and smooth sides and tailgate. The dyno on the motor will be in a few weeks, if the math is right it should be around 900HP with 8 pounds of boost and 1050Hp with 14 pounds.
