1984 chevy silverado project orange crate ls resto/mod

Im finally starting a build and guess i should start a build thread. The plan for the orange crate aka General Beaureguard is a semi daily driver about 50% streeet 51% race. I've decided to go with the one of the ls engines maybe a 6.0. I have some friends that know alot about making power so im not really worried about that. Trans. has to able to handle over 500+hp along with the rearend and everything else on the truck. Like everyone else money is my only limit so this will be a very long build but with lots of time to study and learn from yall. Let me know what yall think, thanks.

I love your truck! mine will be the same but long box. Does your truck have a leveling kit or is it stock height?

Re: 1984 chevy silverado project orange crate ls resto/mod

no updates so far this day marks the beginning of the crazy season for me Im a air conditioning service tech so im realizing that the most work will be done in fall/winter. But ive only got to tear down the front and rear suspension to be ready for blasting. There is also a issue with the passenger side of the very front of the frame is bent about 2 to 3 degrees which i think i will need to take to a collision center to be correct again. Can not wait to be putting parts on instead of taking off. Thanks for the interest, will be posting everything done or any plans.
