Re: 88-98 FAQ's
Scott – dig through these and see which ones you want.
I will work on this more later. Running Rich, or acts like no choke = Coolant sensor testing: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=322811 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=379142 *************************************** Tighten up Tilt column links; On C/K trucks in 1995 they went to a “new” style column. If your truck is a 1994 or older the following information should help. Here are some steering column sites with photos that tell how to repair loose tilt columns. The photos should be helpful. http://www.fieros.de/en/articles/steering.html http://elcaminocentral.com/article95.html Looks like on this site he did the quick fix and did not take it apart far enough to tighten all four fasteners. http://www.chevyasylum.com/column/tiltcol.html Exploded View of a tilt column. http://www.nastyz28.com/tech/e-tiltcol.html Older car but good photos http://buickperformance.com/tiltstee...lumnwobble.htm *********************************** Tilt column lock plate removal; http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ht=tilt+column ***************** Fuel pressure testing – split hose in tank: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=375132 ************************** Set timing wire connector for 1988- 1993 C/K pickup trucks illustration: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1251120221

Re: 88-98 FAQ's
This is gonna be a great help to those who seek help, without asking "where, who, etc.," before doing a search for the help they need. There's a lot of information on here that people can access, if they will just take the time to utilize the already available resources.

Cleaning evap core for better a/c function
Edit: Also wanted to say that an 88-98 FAQ section is a terrific idea -- it seems like every day there's somebody with EGR/IAC/ECTsensor problems. The FAQ section should be subtitled "Is your truck running weird? Check here first!"
