Delta Flows???

Are these any better then the originals(40 series), I went to order the originals, and they only have stock on the deltas, I wanted the originals for the sound, but these deltas are like $40 cheaper, are they any quieter(I dont really want that)

Yes, they are very much quieter. They Delta Flows were made to "reduce" sound, while still maintaning the Free Flow Perfromance Flowmaster is credited for I got the Orginal series 40, and IMO I would spend the lil bit of extra cash to be louder haha.

I'm running the 50 series delta flow and the have a nice growl to them. Go to www.flowmastermufflers.com and listen to the 69 camaro with the 383 in it running the 50 series delta flow. I don't think you will be disappointed.

They are made to have less resonance...you should look at the Hooker Aero Chambers.

I had a Flowmaster American Thunder system on my '98 Camaro SS (may she rest in peace) with the Delta "technology." When I compared the sound to other V8 Camaros with the old version American Thunder I was disappointed in mine. Not the same grunt. I put a cutout in front of the muffler and never capped it so I basically spent $300 for non-functioning dual tips.

Shell out the extra cash and buy the patented sound of the original Flowmaster.
