starting to get some wierd noises when starting up

just noticed this over the past week but all of a sudden now when i start it up it sounds like im getting a grinding noise. i'll try and post a video of the noise if its noticeable with my digi cam.

but until then is there anything that i should be alerted to check?

check to see if the starter is loose first then if you can see the flex plate see if you can see any visual cracks on it although that would be more of a bang than a grind

yeah i know! i didn't go home for lunch yesterday to film it. so i just grabbed the crappy digi cam here at work and did it! and yes its my DD so it has oil in it

a little back video first to show what it normally sounds like starting up after it has been running for a while:


and now a vid after it was sitting at work for 2 hours (noise kinda at the very end around 7-8 seconds:


and another after i started it back up (a little more noticeable)

ok starting this morning the sound is completely gone. guess i'll let it roll for the time being!
