Brother's shipping charges..

Has anyone had any issues over Brothers charging shipping on parts they back order?? We ordered several parts, all the light ones came in, the heaviest part was b.o. but we still got hit with the same shipping fees. Just doesn't seem right to us. just my opinion. Thanks.

Re: Brother's shipping charges..

Two shipments, two shipping charges, seems fair to me.

Re: Brother's shipping charges..

Did they tell it would be on back order? They told me and I told them to wait and ship it all together.

Re: Brother's shipping charges..

I've never had to pay extra for shipping back ordered parts from any company. (never dealt with Brothers)

If the company doesn't have the part, they should ship if at no extra cost when it comes in.

Maybe time to find a better vendor?

Re: Brother's shipping charges..

Sounds like they charged you for all the shipping, and when the b.o. part comes in they will ship it out no charge.

I know summit only charges you for what has shipped plus the shipping onall items if you have a b.o. part, and then when the part comes in they charge you for that part, but the shipping is free since you've already paid for it.
