Where to mount a RAD overflow
I'm trying to think of a place to "hide " my Coolant overflow tank that I just picked up. Its very close to the tube style that Mr. Gasket sells. The other question I had was that the new tank has two places to put a hose on. My old one just had one place and it was just the average plastic tank.

I would like to hear suggestions too. Just put a new cooloing system into my 72 C10. I noticed a nice space under the battery tray...hmmm.

Re: Where to mount a RAD overflow
About those two tubes on the bottom of the tank ... only one is the connecting point for the hose from the radiator. It is relatively short. The other is actually an overflow; in the event the tank takes on too much coolant it will run out. If you look inside, you can see how this works (assuming yours works like mine).

Re: Where to mount a RAD overflow
Ha yeah the two tube question was a stupid one. I could have just opened it and looked at it.
I was wondering if the front of the Rad support would be a good place ? Anyone have pictures of that ? |

Re: Where to mount a RAD overflow
I Found out at work today that an oil filler cap from our trucks fit well and gets ride of that billet cap. Since I'm trying to keep it stock looking under the hood.
