Re: anybody got pictures of cherry picker lifts!!
I made my own cab lift from information on this site. Thanks to who ever posted this information. Hope this helps. As you can see the lift really lifts high. I made mine adjustable and can flip the ends to lift the bed also.

Re: anybody got pictures of cherry picker lifts!!
i'm think of doing a wooden hoist like daverod did! it's easy and i don't need to take the cab completely off the frame just lift it up to drill four holes in the frame to mount some shock relocators! heres the pictures!!

Re: anybody got pictures of cherry picker lifts!!
This is how I did mine. I hung a couple wheels/tires on the back of the picker for counter weights.

Re: anybody got pictures of cherry picker lifts!!
ya! i didn't have to do a lot i have a 2 ton cherry picker and just adjusted the legs and the arm out , made that cab lift from wood like daverod did, and added some small blocks for the outside of the lip so it wont slide and had a friend stand on the other side! it worked great and i put some 4 x 4 under the cab just incase, but it didn't go anywhere! i made mine long enough to lift the bed too! i'll try that this weekend just to see if it will work!!

Re: anybody got pictures of cherry picker lifts!!
I put a hole in the center for an eyelet and lifted up the bed. I then rolled the truck under it.
After it was mounted up, I welded up the hole and then sprayed in Raptor bed liner. |

I know this is the wrong year truck, but the principle is still the same.
This is how I lifted my 53....

Re: anybody got pictures of cherry picker lifts!!
I need to get my cab back off again. No fork lift this time. I will be rigging up my cherry picker for this task.
