Spring Compatibility Questions '72

So I was stripping down my 72 frame today getting ready for sandblasting, and it turns out that both of the third leaves in the rear packs were broken about 1/3 of the way back on the spring!! Kind of a strange place to break I thought and why that particular leaf lol. These are 52", 4 leaf packs with overload ( 5 total) from a 1/2 ton 4x4.

MY QUESTION IS: Will 73-87 52" springs work to replace them??

The old springs measure 52" with a centered center pin. I.E. no offset front to rear. 26" from center of each eye to the pin.

Are 73-87 springs centered this way? And will they add lift? (I dont really want lift)

Thanks -Justin

Re: Spring Compatibility Questions '72

The 73+ springs are the same. There are some differences, like 4 or 5 spring packs and packs with overloads. You'll have to find one like yours, but you should be able to find a set that match.
