Need your input pleeez! Personalized Plates Poll
I think that I am going to do a personalized plate for the truck and was hoping to have your expert feedback help me decide. Some background, I inherited the truck from my grandfather who bought the truck new in 72, so it is an important memory for my family and I want to honor him some with this. Please vote on your favorite and suggest some too if you want. Thanks very much in advance, I'll post my progress on this as well.
His name was Verdin Clarence Krause and my name is Joseph Michael Krause and the truck is a 1972 c20, just FYI. Last edited by cadillacart; 05-12-2011 at 11:33 PM. |

Re: Need your input pleeez! Personalized Plates Poll
Make sure you check with the DMV first to make sure it is not taken.

Re: Need your input pleeez! Personalized Plates Poll
I heard somewhere that there was a website that you could check to see if plates were available before applying for the plate. Seems to be a much more efficient way of doing things, but we are talking about the DMV here lol! :-D

Re: Need your input pleeez! Personalized Plates Poll
I voted krauses because the truck is still in the family. Maybe you could do a shop truck logo on the door listing your grandfathers name as the owner and/or proprietor.
I know some people think it may look cheesey but I have been wanting to get my rear window etched. I of course have something in mind. However I also thought of having a sign maker doing a design out of vynil and then applying it to the rear window. Just a thought. Keith |
