Lowering my 71 LWB
I want to use a 4/6 drop on my 71 lwb and i have a big block. I cant afford air suspension so im going to do it with springs and spindles ect. . Can you guys please tell me what the best way to do this is. I was going to use 2" drop spindles, 2" springs in the front and 2" blocks and 4" springs in the rear with a "c" notch. Does this sound right?

Re: Lowering my 71 LWB
I would go more spring, less block out back if you're running 15" wheels. Pick the drop coil you want and tweak it with blocks, if necessary. Otherwise, your ideas check good

I am going to be running 17" wheels, longer panhard bar, big sway bars and shock relocation kit

Re: Lowering my 71 LWB
The front drop sounds good. I believe the spindle drops are 2.5" or 3" if using standard drop spindles, & 2" if using CPP's modular drop spindle. Just making sure you're aware of the variations.
The rear sounds good as well. You should be fine w/the 2" block if using 17's. Have you checked out board members/vendors No Limit & their JT build thread? They offer great insight & came up w/some nice rear shock/Panhard bar stuff.... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=436621
