interior molding

I have a 79 shortbed with no interior molding or headliner. I want to install molding. Do I just drill holes in the sheetmetal or are there brackets that go in on trucks with interior molding?

Re: interior molding

just drill your holes. It takes #8 self taping screws. Use 3/4 in for most places, and 1 inch for places that overlap.

Re: interior molding

I posted a thread similar to this a while back. One thing from there that I found to be true was putting on the b pillar first. Going B pillar, A pillars, and then the middle pieces seems to be easiest. Also, when doing the job, use a variable speed drill.
