What did you do to your truck this week?

There's one of these on the '67-72 page. I'm thinking that these trucks are worthy, also.

So, what did you do to your 88-98, this week?

For me, it was a matter of pulling the Century bed cover off and replacing the pinch seal that went onto the bottom of the cover where it rests on the top of the bed. Sure make for a quieter ride...no rattle from the bouncing fiberglass top.

What did YOU do?

Re: What did you do to your truck this week?

I installed a '94 excab 60/40 bench seat in my '88. The middle bracket is different on a ex cab, had to cut and weld it to a different angle.

Stock brackets. You can see middle sits higher.

I walked by my '91 in the garage a few times and looked at the dust collecting on it.

Re: What did you do to your truck this week?

I installed a new bedliner yesterday.
The one I had was fading & scratched up pretty bad.

I have replaced a lot of little things on the truck lately to get it all detailed out... I will post new pictures soon.

Re: What did you do to your truck this week?

Umm, Drove it about 20 miles round trip this week. Not doing good on my plan to drive it more than last year. 2,800 miles put on it last year.

But I am waiting on my amber corners to arrive (B.O.) so I can replace my headlights, turn signal lights and the corner lights. Probably order my tires within the next week or so and order the Bull Bar.

Re: What did you do to your truck this week?

Started to put in my 4/6 drop and got the entire drivers side front done and then realized I bought the wrong sized spindles(craigslist).Tore it all apart and put it back stock till I can afford new rotors and bearings.

Re: What did you do to your truck this week?

Bad 2 weeks for me. First changed the knock sensor on the 93 silverado, code 43 cleared. I had to move this week due to the sale of my house. While pulling the trailer moving, I lost all power and couldn't get the truck to get over 55mph on the interstate. Bad! Changed egr valve, the code went away. Truck started running like poo again. Changed fuel filter, fuel pump. Ran great for 10 miles on the intersate. EGR code is back. Changing the egr solenoid valve tomorrow. Hopefully that will be all I have to do to it for awhile.

Re: What did you do to your truck this week?

I cleaned mine up inside and out, took pics, put on the chrome strips to cover the impact strip holes, rerouted my plug wires, all but one(too short) waxxed my underhood chrome, cleaned up some unused wiring and plugins and crap. Put brakes on the wife's car and my father in laws car and changed his oil, plus washed the wife's car, and it rained. Also cleaned the inside of my 88 too. Then washed my brother in laws monte carlo that's sitting in my yard lol.

Re: What did you do to your truck this week?

New registered member here. Thanks for all the great stuff here. I have a 89 GMC K2500 4sp, 5.7L SL. I worked on the interior upgrade to a SLE. Sanded on some of the ruff spots and primered. Trying to get it ready for paint.

Nothing this week yet but my 3.73 gears arrived, I'm sending out my '91 gauge cluster to be tested, cleaned, repaired and re-calibrated and the heads for the new engine are going to the machine shop this week.

I'm thinking that if you can't find it in Bossier/Shreveport, you have Longview, Dallas and Little Rock as well as Texarkana, USA that are closer. Must be something missing in the details of that action......
