issues with correct motor mounts

I have no idea even after reading the forum on 66 mounts for a 350 what to do I have posted a few pics on what i have to see if someone can tell me if my 350 motor and trans will fit on my 66 c10 Please take a look and let me know Thanks again for the help Jeff

Yep, no problem. You'll just need the motor mounts themselves, and also a trans mount. Bolt the engine and trans together, and set them in as one unit. Once you get the engine located on the motor mount stands, and the bolts started into the mounts, slide the trans crossmember in place. Then once the trans mount is secured to the crossmember, tighten the motor mount thru bolts. Then you can locate and drill the new holes for the trans crossmember.

The motor mounts were used from '63-'72 on the small blocks, and the trans mount from the same year span would work also.

Also, when you buy motor mounts, stay away from the $5 models they sell on Summit. I have $10 of Chinese junk sitting on my shelf - junk - because the baseplate is about half as thick as OEM.

I had the same question about my 63 C10 and found help in this post. Different years, but similar set ups.
