Question Dark blue truck with lighter blue interior?

Snap or clash? Can't remember seeing one done. It works with dark/ light green, brown/ tan, charcoal/ grey, etc. All the blue trucks I remember or can find pics of have matching color interior or black. Mine is black, but wondering if I have options that look good as I'm about to redo buddy buckets. My carpet, dash pad & visors need replaced also and all that is available "off the shelf" is light blue or back. Would dying new light blue carpet, visors & dash pad to a dark blue be feasable and last? Or does someone offer custom color molded carpet? I think matching my dark blue exterior color would be my first choice, which shouldn't be a problem with the seats. I had a '68 Buick Electra once that was original med blue with dark blue interior and looked great- that's what got me to thinking... hmm.

Re: Dark blue truck with lighter blue interior?

My 67 was originally dark blue with light metallic blue interior, so I think it'll look fine. I can't offer you any pics as the truck has been painted a lighter blue now and the seat has been recovered in dark blue.

Re: Dark blue truck with lighter blue interior?

My 69 is dark blue exterior with a dark blue interior from the factory. I just had a set of buddy buckets recovered in a dark blue to kinda match the door panels and dash pad. It's hard to find dark blue but it is available if you look. The truck shop in Orange ,Cali has the only dark blue dash pad I have found so far.I'm still looking for door panels- I am still looking for a source. Dark blue carpet is available from stockinteriors.com. I have to wait for more gold coins before I finish the inside of the cab. Here's some pictures of before- after and the old seat( it was done in a lighter blue cloth to give you a contrast

Re: Dark blue truck with lighter blue interior?

I think the bright blue would look killer with dark blue paint. Only '69 had dark blue interior and that color isn't reproduced.
