Vendor Issues?

I needed body mounts for my 72 blazer so I asked around the board where to get some good rubber. After asking I ruled out LMC because a lot of members were not satisfied with the quality of their rubber. So I went with one of the other board vendors that I wont name here. I just got around to installing them this past weekend and looking at the parts I noticed LMC stamped on the rubber and a part#. I looked in the LMC catalog and it was the LMC part numbers on it too. All the parts seemed to be from the LMC kit. The thing that gets me is that I paid about $100 dolars more through than through LMC to get the same product

Re: Vendor Issues?

I got with the vendor and he says it has to do with the suppliers and them servicing multiple vendors. He says his price reflects his costs from the suppliers. I am more than willing to pay a little more to support local/forum vendors. I just wanted to ensure everthing was on the up and up and there was nothing funny going on. I am confident of that now. It is good to have vendors that are attentive and support us and our fourm.
