Entropy radiator setup

Are there any BBC guys out there running the Entropy radiator with the dual fan setup that he sells? They look nice and more importantly in my price range. I'm mainly curious if there is room or not.

Re: Entropy radiator setup

alot depends on which mounts u use i have the tubular mounts with short pump and it fits (tight) but i changed my fans to slimmer ones if u run stock mounts fits with short pump no problem. for some reason tubular mounts push motor forward they say for hei but didn't see any reason why hei wouldn't fit with stock mounts cause now i can fit 2 hei's lol

Re: Entropy radiator setup

Yes there is plenty of room for the big block.

BTW their stuff is very nice, I'm running one of their dual fan setups w/aluminum shroud, and I have a big block.

Re: Entropy radiator setup

I'm running the mounts that came with my drop member, not sure which way they push the motor. So I'm guessing there is no chance a long water pump will work?

Re: Entropy radiator setup

In case anybody was wondering, for $150 more he will use lower profile 14" fans. I'll let everyone know how it comes out.

Re: Entropy radiator setup

I don't know about fitment because I'm running a sbc, but I know that it is a quality rad and that it cools well. Last summer the temp hit 110+ degrees around here and as long as I was moving 10 mph or more the fan would never come on and the temp would stay right at 160. When I was stopped the fan would come on after about 5 minutes and keep it right at 160.

You may want to contact them to see what's going on.

Re: Entropy radiator setup

this radiator and fan set-up looks bad a$$. quick (slight hijack) question - is the sbc and ls upper radiator hose connection the same size? reason I ask is I'd love to do an ls swap but money is tight and installing the radiator first, and then the engine, would make the swap cost easier to do...a lil at a time. thx!

x4. The website said "processing" a week after i ordered mine, and the money was already taken from my paypal account. I contacted him and he said he didnt have a chance to update the website and it was set to go out the next monday. Took around 2.5 weeks altogether i think. Worth it when it showed up though, awesome quality handmade in the USA...
