Re: CB radio and 8 track player dimensions needed please.

They weren't offered in-dash until the middle Seventies. You can also check out some late Eighties big cars. I had an AM/FM 8-track in my '81 Impala...waaaaay back in '82. What I remember is that the unit bolted up and connected with factory connectors and fit the hole in the dash. I think the spacing for the knob shafts is different on those units, compared to the 67-72 trucks.

Thanks for the info. I was actually looking for the dimensions for the underdash units. Sorry I wasn't more clear.

Jorgen, On the cb's here is a cbd-12 that I have. Also a pic of a cdb-10. Sorry I don't have the dimensions to the cbd-10, but I think board member 70cst does.
The cbd-12 is 6 and 3/8 wide, 2 and 1/2 high and 8 and 3/4 long/deep.

Re: CB radio and 8 track player dimensions needed please.

Thanks for the help guys. It looks like I might be able to make the 8 track player work. Unless the CBD-10 is wider it won't really work. Darn.
Thanks again.

Dear Jesus I'm drooling!, Never seen those before, but now I'm on the hunt. I'm guessing those are hard to find.

$250 min to over $500 FYI

The 8 tracks with the GM door are much harder to find than the one's with the Bowtie
