Shortbed Question

Hey Guys

My Dad has a 1953 Chevy Truck. We just bought a new bed for my 1970 truck. Both are shortbed stepside. He wants to know if my old bed (1970) will fit his 1953 truck?

Any input is appreciated.

Re: Shortbed Question

Yes It will fit, The fender holes are different and the bedsides are different at the top, making the 53 gate shorter. The bed to frame mounting pattern in the wood is also different.
So fit is up for your own interpretation. Jay
