rear ends
I did a google search, and a drivetrain search, would i be correct in assuming the 12 bolt in my BB truck is a 8.875 rear? It is not posi (whats up with that?)
I didn't get the exact answer i wanted thats why i'm asking. the rear in my SWB 250 6 i think is a 12 bolt also (buried in the barn at this point), did they use 12 bolts in all 70-72 trucks. Thanks Glen

Re: rear ends
2 wheel drive 1/2 ton trucks, 67 - 72, pretty much all got 12 bolt rears. There's a few odd balls with Danas in them, but they are very far and few between. The BB truck should be a 3.07 gear, and the 250 truck (assuming 3 speed?) is most likely a 3.73 gear.

Re: rear ends
Thats great info sir, thank you. I need to rebuild the bb rear, might just use the 373s out of the small truck.
