Can I use any Underdash Harness in my 68?
I have placed a post on the parts message board for a 68 underdash harness with gauges and automatic. I was wondering if any other year will fit and if so what are some issues I may encounter.
Has anyone used a different year harness in their 67 or 68. I know the 67 and 68 sit on the firewall differently but can I just turn another year to fit? Is the mounting hole spacing different? Thanks |

IIRC the 69-72 will hit the 67-68 park brake handle.
edit- the more I think about it, it was you can't use the 69-72 foot park brake with the 67-68 fuse box. Last edited by ls1nova71; 05-20-2011 at 10:57 AM. |

The only issue I can think of that you will run into is the location of the wiper switch. The 69-72 has the wiper switch mounted on the right side of the dash cluster and the 67-68 it is on the left so the wires will be bound together different and may not be long enough. WES
