Re: how much is a solid 60-63 cab worth??
well , how bad is your cab ?? price the panels , take how long you think it will take to do the job and triple it , then decide if your time is worth anything .. this last sentence sums up just what I have dealth with on my current build and io think I would have sprung for a cab ... That way I could send that one out and have it blasted and repaired and still be driving my truck .. (I actually bought a second truck to motivate me to work on truck # 1) .. Is your truck this bad ?? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/...y.php?cat=1095 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/...hp?photo=21274

Just make sure repairing that dent in the roof is within your capabilities. That would be a deal buster for me, but then I'm not a body and sheet metal guy.

A solid cab in Chicago.... I'd say $300 is a good deal.
You could always buy the new cab, chop the top, use a different roof. Last edited by lakeroadster; 05-20-2011 at 07:45 PM. |
