control arms

I just finished a complete rebuild of my 66 1/2 ton front suspension. New everything. I went to grease up everything and I can't get any of the top or bottom control shaft bushings to take any grease. I am using a hand pump grease gun. Do I need more pressure to force the grease in or is there some other issue or solution? All alignments of the shafts were done to spec.

Re: control arms

I have had them hard to pump up with grease. Some times slow to pump but never not take grease.

Re: control arms

My S10 did this with the upper ball joints. It took several tries, but they eventually started going in...i went through almost a whole tube of grease and lots of napkins.
