Thanks for the info. I took these off a '72 BB Camper Special with no engine and found the clam shell in the bed, assumed it went with.

Easy now fellas! I wasn't looking to stir up controversy. I did post these on Friday for $145, and realized that that was a bit high so I dropped them to $95. I saw that t korinek sold a pair w/ clamshells for $165 a week ago and was hoping for some interest. I am currently unemployed and going back to school, so whatever I can get for these will help.
This forum has been a wealth of information. You think you know about something well enough, then find guys like these that know so much more, and luckily for the rest of us, are willing to share their knowledge. I do realize that some of you have make a livelyhood from this, or at least as supplemental income, and no one can fault you for that. To be honest, without this forum I would not have known what these were worth and might of thrown 'em in the scrap pile anyway (yikes!) I try and research what a part may be worth before I post it. I don't want to undercut those who sell on here regularly, but at the same time would like to help those in need of a certain part by making the price reasonable.

Full amount payment has been sent by paypal, I was only stating facts in both of my previous and now deleted post

As far as the comments on value go, in the same message I had stated I would give his full asking price should he not decide to accept the low ball offer, this goes on here daily with the buyer usually being the one offering to pay the original asking price, offers dont hold your place in line as far as order of commitment goes. Also: Tom has sold the 72 type towers w/o clam shells for $100. in the past, and my offer of no haggling purchase (from an earlier/now deleted post) still stands to anyone else who want to sell these @ $95.
