those who have bought a 700r4......

where did you get it and how much did it cost, and what did you get and do you recommend the place? Im going to be getting a 700r4 for my 77 K25 as soon as possible. I have a th350 in there now and want to replace the leaking terd with an over drive unit. I know there are more than a couple websites that sell 700's w/o a core.. what are y'alls experiences?

Mike,

if I were replacing mine with a new one, there would only be one place I would even think about buying it from.

Pro-Built Automatics

I have personally spoke with Dana, the owner, on the phone. I real nice guy and will talk with you as long as you have questions. I talked with him a while ago, about some stuff, and it wan't even his stuff. We talked for 30 minutes. He used to hang around another message board I was on.

Check out the web site and give him a call. I'm sure he'll be glad to help you out, and answer any questions you might have.

Hey, he's in Southern California, so it may save you a few bucks on shipping too.
