What are the best headers to run on a mild 350 in a 68 1/2 ton

well i can tell you hedman headers fit good with no modifications but if you have or are going to lower your truck they suck because they hang way below the frame

I second that motion on Hedmans. They perform well, but they sure throw a wrench into your lowering plans.

Unless you keep your engine wrapped out to the redline, most folks won't see an advantage from installing headers. They sound nice, they drag on the ground, the get in the way of linkages and they burn out early. For a street truck, I'd vote for ram horns. Just an opinion. I know that opinions are like a$$holes, everybody has one and they all stink!

yea I have the flowtechs...they fit fine and have lasted over 2 years..cheap too..all things being equal..you will see up to 10% gain in HP and torque with full length headers over rams horns..even at low rpm..
